At Ron’s Honky Tonk, we’re thrilled to introduce Brook Ellingworth, an emerging artist whose journey from Oxfordshire to the heart of country music in Nashville has shaped his unique sound and story. Brook will be performing live at our upcoming event on October 4th, and we couldn’t be more excited for you to experience his music firsthand.
Born and raised in Wallingford, Oxford, Brook’s love for music started early, but it wasn’t until 2018, when he first set foot in Nashville, that he found his true calling. Like many aspiring artists, the lure of the city that birthed country music was too strong to resist. But for Brook, this wasn’t just a trip—it was the start of a long-term relationship with the city, its people, and its music scene. Since then, Brook has made countless trips back and forth between the UK and Nashville, working with the friends and collaborators he met along the way.
His time in the U.S. has even left its mark on his voice. Brook’s accent is a fascinating blend—part British, part American, with a hint of Australian that gives him an unmistakable presence both in conversation and in song. This distinct accent perfectly mirrors his journey: a blend of cultures, sounds, and influences, all coming together in his music.
But Brook’s story isn’t just about Nashville. Originally a guitarist, he spent years honing his craft before taking the bold step to go solo. This decision coincided with his deepening connection to country music, and his songs reflect that evolution. Brook’s music is rooted in the tradition of country storytelling, but he brings a fresh, personal perspective to classic themes. His songs like “Truck Stop” and “Road of Yesterday”, which he performed exclusively for the Ron’s Honky Tonk podcast, are the perfect example of his talent for blending heartfelt, relatable lyrics with timeless country sounds.
In true country fashion, Brook shared one of his most "country" moments with us during the podcast, and it’s a story that feels like it could be a song in itself. While performing at a local bar, Brook found himself bidding on a 1966 Chevy pickup truck on eBay—mid-performance! And because life sometimes works out in the most serendipitous ways, he won the bid right there on stage. With a drink in hand, he finished his set, and soon after, that iconic truck made its way across the Atlantic to the UK, where it now resides with him. It’s a story that embodies Brook’s free spirit and connection to the country lifestyle, wherever he may be.

Currently, Brook is hard at work on his debut album, which he plans to release by the end of the year. His biggest influence is Kip Moore, and you can hear the raw, emotional depth in Brook’s songs that has made Kip a favourite for so many country fans. Like his hero, Brook’s music is a mix of gritty vocals and soulful lyrics that speak to the heart.
As he prepares for his performance at Ron’s Honky Tonk on October 4th, Brook is ready to bring his blend of UK roots and Nashville spirit to the stage. This is a chance to see a rising star at the start of something big, and we’re honoured to be a part of his journey.
Whether you’re already a fan of Brook or hearing about him for the first time, we invite you to join us for what promises to be a memorable night of music. Ron’s Honky Tonk is all about creating an authentic country experience right here in London, and Brook Ellingworth is the perfect artist to help us keep that spirit alive.
